Kings Weston House Wedding
I think the only way to describe Lucy & Jack’s wedding is absolutely bonkers. And I mean that in the best way possible. Honestly, who would think you could combine a Disney theme with civil war reenactment and come up with something this cool? I just loved it. It was colourful, bright, fun and just a totally unique wedding.
Kings Weston House was the perfect venue for this wedding. It’s already a gorgeous, quirky venue (the deers in the bar are my favourite) but this couple transformed in to…well, a Wonderland! Lucy channelled Alice in Wonderland with her Disney wedding dress, Irregular Choice shoes and the larger than life decorations. Jack bought in his love of civil war reenactment with his outfit, a sword exit from the ceremony and the odd shield dotted around.
It really was one of the most colourful weddings I’ve photographed. It was bright and cheery both in decoration, and the personalities of these two wonderful people. I couldn’t have had more fun being a wedding photographer than at this wedding. You had to have a smile on your face! It just screamed personality and liveliness.
Unfortunately (for me) it was only a half day wedding package they were looking for so I didn’t get to spend long enough with Lucy and Jack, but there was still time to capture everything that was important to them.
I absolutely love a quirky wedding like this!
