Maternity & Family Shoots in Bristol
Children grow up so fast, so capture those memories while they are still young with a family photo shoot.
A maternity shoot is a beautiful way to document your pregnancy in those once in a lifetime moments before your baby is born!

A family photo shoot is fairly straight forward. Just book me in whenever you want to take a little snapshot of you and your children! I specialise in fun, natural light, documentary style family photo shoots to just capture you all as you are. Don’t worry if it’s chaotic and messy, that’s how life is! I normally bring a picnic blanket to let you all sit down together and have a chat or play a few games, and I’ll walk around with you and watch you interact with each other.
The maternity shoot is your way to document your pregnancy, so it will obviously be very personal to you. You can choose to do your photo session alone, with your partner or even turn it in to a family photo shoot if you already have children. It can be as casual or formal as you like.
The photo shoot will be natural light in an outdoor location of your choice. If you don’t have anywhere in mind, I can send you a list of spots I love around Bristol and the South West. I’m also happy to do an in-home session if you would prefer to document your pregnancy inside or in your garden. Obviously, since it’s England, we might have to be a bit flexible with the weather although I do find that sometimes an overcast sky can make for a dramatic backdrop!
The ideal time to do a maternity shoot is when you’re around 30 weeks pregnant. This tends to be the perfect bump size and hopefully means you’re still feeling a bit mobile before the end of the pregnancy! Of course, everyone is different so feel free to let me know what you think is best for you.
My recommended package is a 45-60 minute session including 30 edited images and a private online gallery and a high resolution download.
Gift vouchers for maternity shoots are also available if you wanted to surprise a mum-t0-be!
