What Happens Now You’ve Booked?

You’ve decided to book me! Yay, thank you so much! You’re one step closer to your dream wedding.

How To Book

Just drop me a message when you’ve made your final decision! To officially book you in, I take a deposit and a signed contract which will all be sent over to you digitally. That’s it! You’ve secured your date.

What Happens Next

Once you’ve officially booked in, it might be a while until I’m back in touch, but please don’t feel like you can’t drop me a message whenever you want. Whether it’s questions about your wedding photography, or just any thoughts about your day in general I am always happy to help! I also love to get to know you so I’m not a stranger on your wedding day, so do let me know if you want to grab a coffee or drink in the meantime.

Pre-Wedding Shoot 

If you booked my Full Day + package, or decided to add a pre-wedding or engagement shoot, we will arrange a time and place to do that! If you’re using the shoot to get a feel for your venue, then I normally find it’s a good idea to do the shoot at your wedding venue the year before your date. We can get a sense of the best light and locations for that time of year. Otherwise, it’s probably a good idea to make use of lovely long summer evenings to book your engagement shoots. Please note, in summer it is unlikely I will be able to offer a weekend date and will be limited to mid-week evenings. If I haven’t heard from you, I’ll be in touch a few months before the wedding to arrange things with you.

Final Details 

Exactly a month before your wedding, your final details form will be sent out automatically to you. This will be for you to put down all of the timings of your day along with your group photos and any other photo requests or unique things happening on your day. Once I’ve got this form back, I’ll get in touch with you to run over everything before the wedding. We can either have a quick phone call or grab a coffee or drink if you live in Bristol and want to have a natter!

Final Invoice

Your final invoice will be sent out with the final details form a month before your wedding. I am very flexible on payment and happy for you to pay after the wedding if you prefer. I really don’t mind, but I do appreciate a heads up on when you’re planning on making the payment. The only thing to know is that I won’t deliver any images, even previews, until full payment is made.

Previews

Yay, your wedding has happened! After the day, I know there will be a lot of emotion and a lot of excitement to see the photos! I give you you around 20-30 images as a preview within 48 hours after your day.

Delivery

My turnaround time is 6-8 weeks, although I do my best to get the photos back to you as soon as possible. I deliver the images in a private online gallery that you can share with your guests, and you’ll have password protected access so you mark certain photos private if you prefer. You’ll also be given a PIN code so you can download your images with that code in high resolution. If you would like the photos on a USB as well, please let me know and I can send one out to you!

Albums & Prints 

If you or any of your guests would like prints, they can be ordered through your online gallery very easily! Alternatively, you can download your photos in high resolution and order your own prints anywhere you like.

Future Shoots

I offer a 10% discount for any future shoots you might want to book with me, or my studio business Stokes Croft Studio. This includes anniversary shoots, family shoots, newborn shoots and maternity shoots. I always really hope to see you again!
